SharePoint 2010 – How to Change the URL in a Visual Studio SharePoint Project

If you want to change the URL of the SharePoint site you initially configured in Visual Studio SharePoint project, follow these steps:

1. Select your project name  in Visual Studio 2010 “Solution Explorer”.
   
   
2. In the project properties pane, update the URL in the “Site URL” option.
